Your Reputation…Reflects On You

Even with a highly effective PR agency in place, every organisation can expect direct contact with the media at some point. Whether it’s an interview organised by your agency, or an unsolicited call direct from a journalist, anyone likely to encounter direct communication, whether courted or not, can benefit from understanding how the media works and the importance of their role in managing exposure to it.

How the organisation is perceived by customers, shareholders – and competitors plays a crucial role in your business’ ongoing success. Direct relations between your organisation and the press, and via your agency, play a significant role in the business’ reputation, whether or not you have a PR agency in place. Indeed the courses are designed to help your organisation work more effectively with your PR team or agency to deliver your key messages across to your audience.

What Do We Offer?
Our media workshops are undertaken by highly experienced media experts, award-winning journalists, and specialists in animal health and agriculture.

Bespoke
Our courses are specifically designed for your organisation on request. These workshops provide a tailored solution according to the skills and development required of those attending.

Off The Peg
We also offer an “off the peg” solution by way of open courses run periodically throughout the year. These involve attendance from several organisations either from one industry, or cross industries, depending on the focus of the course. Confidentiality is of course a priority in the structure and delegation of these courses.

Who Should Attend?
Media management is not just reserved for HQ or the corporate communications department. Every person that has any level of contact with the media can have an influence on the business’ reputation. Indeed, any organisation is only as good as its weakest link, and media exposure is no exception.

Courses are individually designed to cover any area, from press relations for product & territory managers, through to high level crisis management for senior communications personnel & country principles.

Course Content
The workshops are highly interactive and can include role play, recorded telephone, radio, and TV interviews with experienced journalists, as well as press conferences and internal communication structure.

Each workshop is designed for the individual company and / or delegates, but the following contents give an idea of the elements that can be incorporated;

On completion of the course, each delegate receives a personal written report with constructive feedback, plus copies of any ‘press articles’ written during the course, along with any audio /visual recordings from their ‘live’ interviews.

Where and when do the courses take place?
At your offices or a preferred venue at a date of your choice. Off the peg courses are advertised prior to the event.

The cost?
Workshop costs will vary according to the course content, the venue and the number of delegates, but represent excellent value for money.
